Cape Breton Beach, 28 x 59, Mixed Media on Canvas
| Near Glace Bay just north of Louisburg we experienced one of the most majestic sunsets I have ever seen in a remote and desolate cove. It was dusk and the ocean waves shimmered in the low twilight as they broke on the rocks below. The sound of the rolling surf was a lullaby to my ears. The shore was a rainbow of colour forcing me to work quickly trying not to miss any of what you now see. It was difficult working in such low light. I will never forget this moment and the time I spent with my beloved wife along this shore |
