| Winter in Nova Scotia can also be a beautiful time. Here we see a small pond basking in the late day January sun as it warms the limbs of a grove of pines. Tall slender trees of dead wood reach into the air as sentinels watching over this quiet place. The rolling hills to the left tumble into vertical lines of wood creating a classic scene with a more contemporary composition that sets this landscape apart from others I have created. |
