LUMINOUS IMPRESSION

In the field of fine art we have several classic ways of rendering an image onto a surface. They are painting, screening, photography and impressions. As a classic artist, who has worked in many mediums, I use a modified impression technique as an alternative way of painting my works directly to canvas. Layered sections of each painting are merged together to a single final layer called a matrix and then from this a final impression is laid directly to canvas. This is something similar to silk-screening but completely original and more advanced. This allows me to create true original art that is slightly less unique but at the same time very affordable. The final result is a painting having exceptional luminosity, three dimensionality, colour and detail that is yet unequalled in the field of fine art.

In respect to shipping, all works come on rolled canvas. When shipping out of province there is no provincial tax and out of country there are no taxes at all. This affords a great saving and if rolled also removes mounting and stretching costs from the financial equation resulting in the most original and affordable art available today. Over seas clients carry the art on the plane in a simple mailing tube which is convenient and safe.

LAYERED STENCILS

I use stenciling in many of my painted layers also and there can be as many as 30 stencils to a work. Each stencil will hold different colours and techniques. Once screened, this is  the first time I see the finished work. All my art is original but not unique. It exists only as you see it on canvas or as layered stencils. There is nothing in between. I use this technique so everyone can afford my work and I usually will make more than one impression. Each is created one at a time by my own hand in my studio.

Painting, (as defined by Wikipedia) meant literally, is the practice of applying color to a surface (support) such as paper, canvas, wood, glass, lacquer, concrete or other. However, when used in an artistic sense, the term "painting" means the use of this activity in combination with drawing, composition and other aesthetic considerations in order to manifest the expressive and conceptual intention of the practitioner.
